Women's Health

Two women talking over tea, a warm conversation about women's health care in Las Vegas.

Women's health is shamefully neglected in modern medicine.

The usual answer to issues like PCOS, endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids, irregular or painful periods is to go on some form of birth control. Birth control often suppresses the symptoms, but it doesn't address the root cause of the problem. Many women also find that birth control doesn't completely suppress the symptoms, or it can create additional issues — weight gain, bloating, disrupted sleep, mood changes.

Oriental medicine has a long history of treating women's issues. Acupuncture and Chinese medicine work with your body's own signaling — hormones, blood flow, stress load, digestion — so we can support balance instead of only turning symptoms off. There are supportive lifestyle changes and supplements that work with treatment so you can feel better, faster, and get back to your daily life.

My goal is simple: help you feel better as quickly as possible, get to the root of what's going on, and get you out of treatment so you can have your life back.

I want to help you not carry this alone. There are ways to get help and feel better.

What I treat

Women's health in my practice is not one generic protocol. It is the specific problem you walk in with — and the whole pattern around it.

PCOS

PCOS is not just "cysts on the ovaries." It is usually a metabolic and hormonal pattern that shows up as long or missing cycles, stubborn weight, acne, hair changes, and fertility struggle. If that is your story, read the full PCOS page and then come talk to me.

Endometriosis

Endo can be brutal — stabbing periods, clots, pain that runs your month, fertility complications, and the exhaustion of being told your labs look "fine." I work with pain, recovery after surgery when you are cleared, and fertility-focused care when you are trying to conceive. Real patient stories live on the endometriosis page.

Painful, heavy, or chaotic periods

You do not need a perfect diagnosis label to deserve help. If your cycle runs your life — pain, flooding, spotting for weeks, or cycles you cannot predict — we map what is actually happening and build a plan. If something looks like it needs imaging or a gynecologist first, I will tell you.

Fibroids and adenomyosis

These are medical diagnoses. I do not replace your OB/GYN or surgeon. I do support comfort, cycle regulation, and recovery capacity while you make those decisions with your physician.

Digestion that follows your cycle

Bloating, constipation, diarrhea, food reactions that spike around your period — gut and hormones talk to each other constantly. If digestion is a big part of your month, start here:

Start with digestive care.

Mood, anxiety, and the weight of it all

Living in pain, waiting on fertility results, or feeling unlike yourself is not "just stress." Body-based care can sit alongside therapy and medication when those are part of your plan.

Pregnancy and loss

If you are pregnant and want support, or you are carrying the history of miscarriage, those paths have their own pages:

Trying to conceive — or not

A lot of women find me through fertility. Just as many come because they are done feeling wrecked every month and are not trying to get pregnant right now. Both are welcome.

If conception is the goal, the fertility hub is the next door:

Start with fertility care.

How we work together

First visit is a real intake. I want your cycle history, what you have already tried, your labs if you have them, how you sleep, how you eat, what your stress actually looks like, and what "better" means to you. Treatment is acupuncture, lifestyle changes that are doable (not a fantasy overhaul), and herbs only when they make sense and your medical team knows about them.

See what to expect.

A straight word about medical care

Acupuncture is not emergency care. Sudden severe pain, soaking through protection every hour, fainting, fever with pelvic pain, or pregnancy with bleeding or pain — call your doctor or go to urgent care. I work with your medical team, not instead of them.

Take the next step

If you are tired of being handed a prescription and sent home still hurting, please get in touch. Tell me what has been happening. We will figure out whether this is the right next step for you.
